Biography

Michael D. Holloway is the President of 5th Order Industry, USA, which provides competency development and training programs for many industries and offers standard, customized, and certification preparation courses. Mr. Holloway holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Salve Regina University, USA, as well as a Master of Science in Polymer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, USA. He has over 38 years of experience in the industry. His career began with research and development roles at Olin Chemical and WR Grace. He then moved into product management for Rohm & Haas, followed by technical marketing and application engineering for GE Plastics. Later, he focused on business development and management for NCH Corporation, ALS Global, and SGS Switzerland. Mr. Holloway has developed 18 online learning management systems, authored or edited 15 technical books, and holds 16 professional certifications, including Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) and Machinery Lubrication Engineer (MLE).
