The protection of groundwater and surface water from contamination by the escape of contaminant from waste disposal is now an important consideration in many countries of the world. This book deals with the design of 'barrier systems' which separate waste from the surrounding environment and which are intended to prevent contamination of both groundwater and surface waters. The authors discuss... Read more
