Biography
Alfonso Bucero, PhD, PMP, PMI-RMP, PfMP, PMI Fellow, is now an independent project management consultant and speaker. He was founder, partner, and director of BUCERO PM Consulting in Spain (http://www.abucero.com). He was managing director at IIL Spain in Madrid, serving as a project management consultant and training executives, explaining the need for and advantages of project sponsorship. His background was as a project manager at Hewlett-Packard Consulting, where he developed and managed the PMO implementation whose purpose was the continuous improvement of project management discipline across the organization. During his thirteen years at HP, he managed various customer, infrastructure, development, and change management projects. He spent his last two years at HP selling and implementing the project office and convincing upper managers about the advantages of project sponsorship. Alfonso has a Computer Science Engineering degree, is a PhD recipient, and has 35 years of practical experience managing and consulting on projects worldwide. As a project management believer, he defends passion, persistence and patience to achieve project success.

Englund, MBA, BSEE, NPDP, CBM, as executive consultant for the Englund Project Management Consultancy (https://englundpmc.com), provides management and leadership awareness for clients worldwide at a systemic level through his presentations, workshops, seminars, consulting engagements, books, conference papers, blogs and other writings. His interactive, multimedia presentations focus on mindset and people skills that create more effective working environments. Experiences stem from 22 years at Hewlett-Packard, where he was a senior project manager at a corporate level and then as an independent consultant for 25 years. He also served as a program manager in high tech new product development, military officer, and as a field installation supervisor for GE.
