Biography

Łukasz Jurek is an Associate Professor at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Poland. He specialises in determinants and consequences of population ageing, organisation and financing of long-term care, retirement decisions and pension systems, attitudes towards welfare benefits and benefit fraud.

Krystyna Gilga is an Assistant Professor and Rector's Representative for the Disabled at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Poland. She specialises in disability issues, including accessible education and social policy.

Stanisław Kamiński is an Associate Professor at Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Poland. He specialises in welfare mix, public failure, market failure, and global social problems.

Joanna Szczepaniak-Sienniak is Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, President of the Polish Society of Social Policy - Wroclaw Branch, and a member of the Committee on Demographic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland.
