Francisco Balbuena Rivera, PhD, is a Spanish psychologist and philosopher and a full-time faculty member in the Department of Clinical and Experimental Psychology at the University of Huelva, Spain. His work explores the history of psychoanalysis and psychiatry, emphasizing pioneering approaches to psychosis and mental illness and their ethical and philosophical implications.
