Biography

Jean-Christophe Le Coze is a research director at Institut National de l’Environnement Industriel et des Risques, France. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in safety culture, high-reliability performance, and sociological approaches to safety in complex industries such as chemical, nuclear, and railways. He has led multidisciplinary research and consulting programs, collaborated with organizations including TotalEnergies, L’Oréal, and CEA, and developed international training and workshops. He advocates for integrating diverse disciplines to address the evolving challenges of safety in global contexts.
