Biography
Prof T. Maiyalagan received his Ph.D. in Physical chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and completed postdoctoral programs at the Newcastle University (UK), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and at the University of Texas, Austin (USA). Presently he is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India. His main research interests focus on design and development of electrode nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage applications, particularly fuel cells, supercapacitors and batteries. His research and collaborations have resulted in 300 papers in peer reviewed publications (with 20500 citations and an H-index of 70) and edited five books. He received SIR C.V. RAMAN SCIENTIST AWARD 2019”, in Science and Technology from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research and Young Scientist Awards for the year 2017 from Academy of Sciences, Chennai. He has been invited to present his work at various international and national meetings.
Dr. Mahima Khandelwal received her PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. Dr. Khandelwal completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemistry from University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. She subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher and later as a Research Professor at several institutions in South Korea. Currently, Dr. Khandelwal is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Postdoctoral Fellow at the Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN), Palacký University Olomouc. Her research interests focus on the synthesis and surface modification of carbon-based nanomaterials, two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides, and non-van der Waals chalcogenides for energy storage and conversion applications. Dr. Khandelwal has more than 25 peer-reviewed research articles (> 1050 citations; H-index 18) in reputed international journals.
