Biography
Tariq Ahmad Bhat, PhD, is a lecturer on botany in the Department of Education, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, India. With 16 years of teaching experience, he is also engaged in active research of molecular biology, cell biology, mutation breeding, and genetic improvement of legumes and medicinal plants. He has published several books and many research papers, review articles, and book chapters. Dr. Bhat was honored with a Best Innovative Science Teacher Award from the Govt. of India in recognition of his outstanding performance in the field of teaching and research.
Khalid Rehman Hakeem, PhD, is Professor at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has over 10 years of teaching and research experience in plant eco-physiology, biotechnology and molecular biology, medicinal plant research, plant-microbe-soil interactions, as well as in environmental studies. He served as a visiting scientist at Jinan University, China. Currently, he is involved with several international research projects with government organizations. A prolific author, Dr Hakeem has authored and edited over 60 books and has published many book chapters and research papers.
