Biography
Nuzhat Faiz Shaikh is a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at Wadia College of Engineering, Pune, India. With over 28 years of academic and research experience, she specializes in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Neuro-inspired Computing. She is a recognized Ph.D. guide at S.P. Pune University and has guided numerous postgraduate and doctoral scholars. Dr. Shaikh has authored and edited multiple books, published extensively in reputed journals, and holds numerous patents and copyrights. She is actively involved in curriculum design, faculty development programs, and research initiatives, emphasizing responsible and human-centric AI.
Shraddha Rahul Khonde is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at M.E.S. Wadia College of Engineering, Pune. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she specializes in Data Mining, Information and Network Security, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain Technologies. Dr. Khonde has authored two textbooks aligned with the revised curriculum of SPPU and published extensively in international journals and conferences. She is a life member of ISTE, IET, and CSI.
Shilpa Prafull Khedkar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at M.E.S. Wadia College of Engineering, Pune. With over two decades of teaching experience, she specializes in Computer Networks, High-Performance Computing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Dr. Khedkar has published extensively in international journals and conferences and serves as a member of the syllabus design committee at SPPU. She is a life member of ISTE.
Parikshit Mahalle is a Professor and Dean Academics at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, India. He completed his Ph.D. from Aalborg University, Denmark, and Postdoctoral Research at CMI, Copenhagen, Denmark. With 25 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Mahalle has authored/edited 75 books, published over 440 research papers, and holds 117 patents. His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Science, IoT, Identity Management, and Security. He has guided eight Ph.D. students and mentored three postdoctoral researchers. Dr. Mahalle is a recipient of multiple awards, including the IEEEICTBIG2024 Distinguished Research Guide Award, and has delivered over 400 lectures at national and international levels.
