Biography
R.G. Abaszade, is an associate professor of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (2022) and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (2024). He is the author of 138 articles, 9 textbooks, 11 subject programs and 3 inventions, and papers in refereed journals with over 759 citations and h-index of 16, according to Google Scholar database. Dr. Abaszade received a degree of physical electronics (Bachelor) at Baku State University in 2003, optoelectronics (Master) at Baku State University in 2006, and Ph.D. in physics in 2018. In 2019, he created the ""Innovation Research"" department at the International Academy of Ecoenergetics and continues to research the purchase, analysis and applications of nanomaterials. The department’s research works are carried out in the framework of joint cooperation with the scientific centers of the USA, Germany, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, England, China, İndia and Italy. Together with the research group, the department is engaged in complex work related to the acquisition, addition, analysis and applications of graphene-based samples. At the same time, the department creates various nanoelements (negatrons, diodes, capacitors and transistors) based on graphene-based materials. In the department, Professor Abaszade’s research group is continuing experimental work in the direction of obtaining various samples, studying them and preparing nanomatrix devices based on new smart technology for the implementation of smart city and alternative energy supply. He is the editor-in-chief of Ecoenergetics journal, and a leading reviewer of the editorial board of various journals. In 2019, he became a professor of the ""International Academy of Ecoenergetics"", and in 2023, he was an invited professor of Nursultan Nazarbayev University.
A. K. Haghi is a retired professor and is currently a research associate at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Professor Haghi holds a B.Sc. in urban and environmental engineering from the University of North Carolina (USA) and holds two M.Sc. degrees, one in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University (USA) and another one in applied mechanics, acoustics, and materials from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France). He was awarded a Ph.D. in engineering sciences at Université de Franche-Comté (France). He has written, co-written, edited, or co-edited more than 1000 publications, including books, book chapters, and papers in refereed journals with over 4300 citations and an h-index of 35, according to Google Scholar database.
