Biography

John Rundell is Director of the Ashworth Centre for Social Theory at the University of Melbourne. His previous publications include Origins of Modernity and Rethinking Imagination. Stephen Mennell is Professor of Sociology at University College, Dublin, and is the author of Uses and Abuses of Social Theory, All Manners of Food and Norbert Elias: Civilization and the Human Self-image.
