Biography

Sonja Burmeister serves as an adjunct associate professor in the Masters of Science and Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctoral programs at Moravian University. With over two decades of experience, Sonja has been a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist since 1996, earning specialty certifications in autism and early intervention. She obtained her master's as a physician assistant in 2001 and brings both skills to her writing and teaching.
