Biography

Philip H. K. Seymour was a lecturer and researcher at the University of Dundee 1966–2003. He was appointed Professor of Cognitive Psychology in 1988. His research in cognition and literacy was supported by the Medical Research Council and the Economic and Social Research Council. He was a member of the Experimental Psychology Society and the British Psychological Society. Publications include Human Visual Cognition (1979) and Cognitive Analysis of Dyslexia (Routledge & Kegan Paul, 1986, reissued 2026).
