Biography
Usha Rana, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of Gender and Development Studies at Indira Gandhi National Open University in Delhi, India. With over 12 years of teaching and research experience, she specializes in the study of sexuality, gender studies, and the sociology of technology. Her research interests also encompass marginalized communities, research methodology, and community health. She has published more than 60 papers in journals and conferences indexed in SSCI/Scopus, authored three edited books, and contributed four book chapters. She has also delivered lectures at various national and international workshops. Dr. Rana is an active member of the International Sociological Association, the Indian Sociological Society, and the Women’s Indian Association.
Rupender Singh, PhD, is a Research Scientist at the VTT Technical Research Center in Espoo, Finland. His prior experience includes roles as a Consultant with Lumenci and as Postdoctoral Fellow at National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan. From 2009 to 2013, he served as an Assistant Professor at the World Institute of Technology in Gurgaon, India. He has authored two books and published over 50 papers in journals and conferences.
