Shelly Arneson is a principal at Edge Elementary School and is currently pursuing her doctorate in education. She was previously a teacher then a guidance counselor before becoming a principal six years ago. She lives with her husband Dave and their three Labrador Retrievers in Niceville, Florida. She has presented workshops on leadership and communication at ASCD and enjoys writing fiction as well as educational books. In her free time, Shelly enjoys travelling and reading.
