    Biography

    Dr Abid Hasan is a Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Built Environment, Deakin University, where he teaches Construction Company Management and Construction Management Practise. He completed his PhD in Construction Management at the University of South Australia. Before starting his doctoral studies, he worked in a Fortune 500 and Forbes 2000 global firm in India. He has also worked in India’s largest construction company.  The industry experience helped him gain valuable knowledge and expertise in different aspects of company management. He has also published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal and conference articles. He recently contributed a chapter in Routledge’s forthcoming book ‘Secondary Research Methods in the Built Environment’.

     

    Dr Asheem Shrestha is a Lecturer and a Course Coordinator at the School of Architecture and Built Environment, Deakin University, where he teaches Construction Company Management and Professional Practise. He received his PhD from the University of Melbourne, and he has published extensively in high ranked construction management journals.  Asheem was trained as a Civil Engineer, and he has several years of experience working in construction projects and consulting. He currently reviews for top construction journals.

     

    Professor Kumar Neeraj Jha is with the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He started his career with Larsen and Toubro Ltd and was instrumental in completing several construction projects. He has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. His books titled Construction Project Management (Pearson Education), Formwork for Concrete Structures (Tata McGraw Hill) and Determinants of construction project success in India (Springer) are widely accepted as textbooks in different universities. He regularly conducts training programs for industry professionals and has also been involved with several consultancy projects.
