Biography

Stefano Faraoni is an Assistant Professor at the University of Birmingham, Law School. He is a former practising lawyer (Avvocato Cassazionista) specialising in international contract law. He holds a PhD in Law awarded by the University of York. His research explores the legal dimensions of Artificial Intelligence, including persuasive technologies, digital twins, dark patterns, and computational manipulation. His work adopts a comparative, interdisciplinary approach spanning contract law, technology regulation, Intellectual Property and emerging neuro‑rights.
