Biography

Seshagiri Rao Ambati, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE), Visakhapatnam, India. He specializes in process control, wastewater treatment, and energy systems, with a strong focus on intelligent control strategies and sustainable resource management. A recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) Young Engineer Award and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE)’s Excellence in R&D Award, he has held visiting research positions at institutions in Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, the USA, and South Korea. With over 100 journal publications and multiple funded projects, his work bridges academia and industry in addressing environmental and energy challenges.

E. S. S. Tejaswini, Ph.D., is an accomplished chemical engineer and researcher, currently serving as the Head of R&D at Haile Pharma, Visakhapatnam, India. With a doctorate from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India and prior postdoctoral experience at the University of Alberta, Canada, she brings a wealth of knowledge in the modelling, simulation, and control of complex process systems. Her research focuses on advanced control strategies for wastewater treatment plants, aiming to improve environmental outcomes and operational efficiency. Tejaswini has published extensively in reputed journals and has received several best paper awards at various International conferences for her innovative work in the field.
