Biography
Kim Carlotta von Schönfeld works as Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, in Bergen, Norway, and collaborating researcher at the Centre for Territory, Transports and Environment at the University of Porto, Portugal.

"The book is a fascinating and revealing set of dialogues that bridge academic thinking and planning practice on critical issues and trends that planning is faced with currently. It fills a major gap in the literature. It offers something much more than a dialogue about planning dilemmas, and shows how and why planners – in all sectors – need to respect, listen and learn from each other."
Mark Tewdwr-Jones, Professor of Cities and Regions, University College London
"In a refreshingly unconventional way, this volume invites readers to a dialogical reflection on critical issues of contemporary planning practice. Against the often assertive attitude of academic communication, the contributors engage in a multi-voice and multi-perspective endeavour that opens up a rich array of critical entry points to the issues selected and extends their discussion beyond mainstream assumptions. This allows not only addressing challenging questions in a complex, non-reductionist way, but also appealing to readers with different backgrounds. This book will be rewarding reading for anyone willing to take critical reflection on such issues seriously."
Enrico Gualini, Professor of Planning Theory and Urban-Regional Policy Analysis, Technische Universität Berlin
