“Betchen’s groundbreaking book addresses a long-standing gap in the clinical literature by offering a comprehensive guide dedicated to the supervision of therapists working with couples experiencing relationship and sexual difficulties. With his brilliant and analytic case examples and clinical interpretations, Betchen has outlined a structured supervisory model informed by psychodynamic conflict and systemic theories. An essential reading for supervisors, advanced clinicians, and trainees in couple and sex therapy, Couple and Sex Therapy Supervision offers a much-needed roadmap for training the next generation of therapists working at the intersection of intimacy, sexuality, and relationships.”
