Biography

Gillian Bristow is a Reader in Economic Geography in the School of City and Regional Planning, Cardiff University. Her research interests focus on regional economic development, governance and policy. This book develops her seminal critique of regional competitiveness published in the Journal of Economic Geography in 2005.
