Biography

Dr. Prashant Shantaram Dhotre has completed his B.E degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shri Ramanand Teertha Marathwada University, Nanded, in 2004 and M.E. Degree in Information Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, in 2010. He has been awarded with a doctorate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark in 2017. His PhD thesis title was “Systematic Analysis and Visualization of Privacy Policies of Online Services''. His Ph.D. work has resulted in a high-level acceptance by the Aalborg University, Denmark and published the work in Danish News/Media. Currently, he is working as Professor in the Department of Information Technology at MIT Art, Design and Technology (MIT ADT) University, Pune, India. He has more than 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has carried out funded research projects on “Location and Identity Privacy in Internet of Things” and “Drowsy Driver Detection using Image Processing” by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He has 40 publications in International Journals and Conferences. One of his research papers was awarded as the “Best Paper” in an International Conference on Intelligent Computing and Communication ICICC – 2017 Springer Series. He has authored 8 books like “Internet of Things Integrated Augmented Reality” (Springer Nature Press), “Context-aware Pervasive Systems and Application” (Springer Nature Press), “Theory of Computations”, “Data Structures”, and “Machine Learning'' (Technical Publication). A special book chapter was published in a book titled “Cyber Security and Privacy: Bridging the Gap'', from River Publication in Europe. His two chapters have been published in a book titled “Handbook on ICT in Developing Countries: Next Generation ICT Technologies'' from River Publication in Europe. He is a corporate trainer and conducted training for employees of several industries like Cummins, Siemens, etc. He has been invited as a session chair for International Conferences like ICINC, ICCUBEA, etc. He is working as SPoC for International Collaboration between Indian Institutes (Sinhgad, Dr. DY Patil Pimpri, MITADT, etc.) and CMI, Aalborg University, Copenhagen, Denmark. As an outcome of this collaboration, more than 70 Indian students have completed an Internship abroad and 2 candidates have successfully completed their PostDoc from abroad. As a part of his research, he has delivered several talks on “Research Methodology'', “How to write research papers”, “Use of reference manager and citation tools”, “How to complete Ph.D. in time: A roadmap”, etc. at several Institutes in Maharashtra. Also, from an academic perspective, he has been invited to talk about academic topics like “Use of Data Structures in Industry”, “Internet of Things'', “Theory of Computation”, etc. He is a recognized PG guide of Savitribai Phule Pune University and guides several students in the area of Machine Learning, Big Data Security Information Privacy, etc. His research interests include Algorithms, Privacy, Internet of Things and Turing Machine. He has visited a few countries like Denmark, France, Sweden, Germany, Norway, China, and UAE.

Dr. Parikshit Narendra Mahalle is a senior member IEEE and is Professor and Head of Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India. He completed his Ph. D from Aalborg University, Denmark and continued as Post Doc Researcher at CMI, Copenhagen, Denmark. He has 22 + years of teaching and research experience. He is a member of the Board of Studies in Computer Engineering, Ex-Chairman Information Technology, SPPU and various Universities and autonomous colleges across India. He has 9 patents, 200+ research publications (Google Scholar citations-2150 plus, H index-22 and Scopus Citations are 1100 plus with H index -15) and authored/edited 40+ books with  CRC Press and other publishers. He is editor in chief for IGI Global –International Journal of Rough Sets and Data Analysis, Associate Editor for IGI Global - International Journal of Synthetic Emotions, Inter-science International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing, member-Editorial Review Board for IGI Global – International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence. His research interests are Machine Learning, Data Science, Algorithms, Internet of Things, Identity Management and Security. He is a recognized PhD guide of SSPU, Pune, and guiding 7 PhD students in the area of IoT and machine learning. Recently, FIVE students have successfully defended their PhD. He is also the recipient of “Best Faculty Award” by Sinhgad Institutes and Cognizant Technologies Solutions. He has delivered 200 plus lectures at national and international level. He is also the recipient of the best faculty award by Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Dr. Deepak Tatyasaheb Mane has completed his B.E degree in Information Technology from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, in 2004 and M.E. Degree in Computer Engineering  from Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemded University, Pune, in 2011. He has been awarded with a doctorate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Swami Ramanand Marathwada University in 2019. His PhD thesis title was “Design and Development of Supervised Clustering Algorithms”. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune, India. He has more than 15.8 years of teaching and research experience. He has carried out funded research projects on “Amalgam Based to design Translator and synthesizer for English to Sanskrit Language” by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He has published 20 research papers in reputed international journals like Springer, Elsevier, Inderscience, IGI Global, etc. He has authored four Techmax publication books like “Principles of Programming Languages, “Fundamental of Programming Languages”, “Programming Paradigms”, and “Machine. He is a reviewer for several journals as well. He has been invited as a session chair for International Conferences like ICTIS 2020 Ahmadabad India, ICT4SD 2020, GOA, India, etc. As a part of his research, he has delivered several talks on “Deep Learning'', “Machine Learning Techniques”, “High Performance Computing”, “Machine and Deep Learning”, etc. at several Institutes in Maharashtra, India. He is a recognized PG guide of Savitribai Phule Pune University and guiding several students in the area of Pattern Classification, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning etc. In 2020, he received I2OR national “Eminent Young Researcher Award” and in 2021, his research profile is selected for “BEST Researcher Award” in International Scientist Award 2021 on Engineering, Science  & Medicine in Goa, India. His main research interest focuses on Machine Learning, Pattern classification, Supervised Clustering and  Neural Network.

Dr. Rakesh K. Jain obtained his B.E degree in Civil Engineering from R. D. University Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India and M.E. degree in Town & Country Planning from University of Pune, Maharashtra, India. He completed his Ph.D in Civil Engineering specialization in Wireless Communication from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University,  Bhopal (MP), India . Currently, he is working as Director of JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Tathawade, Pune (An Autonomous Institute, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, India). He has more than 35 years of teaching, industry and research experience. He worked as a Principal of Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pune, India for almost 10 years. Prior to this designation, he had worked as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Head of Civil Engineering at D. Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune, India. Apart from being an academician, he worked in an Industry as a Site Engineer with Matrix Engineers, Pune, India.
He has been working as an Expert Member of Civil Engineering Program in the Expert Committee for accreditation by NBA, New Delhi since last 5 years. Presently, he is promoted to work as a “Chairman” for the same committee. He has been honored by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi, India by selecting him as a “Margdarshak'' (Mentor) for guiding other institutions for accreditation by NBA. He is functioning as “Ambassador” for mentoring five non-accredited institutes for accreditation by NAAC, under the “Paramarsha”(Advisor) scheme sanctioned by UGC (University Grant Commission). He was honored as “Best Principal” by SPPU, Pune, India, “Best Teacher” and “Certificate of Excellence for Leadership" Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya- Pratishthan Society, Pune. Also, he is awardee of “Visvesvaraya Construction Excellence Award” by Construction & Business Record, Mumbai, India.
He was a Member Board of Studies in Civil Engineering under Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Member Academic Council, Chairman Board of Studies in Civil Engineering under FOE, Member Research & Recognition Committee and Member. He was Chairman, BOS (Civil) for Railways (Adhoc) under the Faculty of Technology, SPPU, Pune. He was a Member of Standing Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) of PMC since and participated actively in the development process of the Pune City. He is a member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Agriculture (MCCIA).
He has published more than 75 research publications and 5 authored books to his credit by CRC Press. He has 5 patents to his credit. He is a recognized Ph. D guide of SSPU, Pune and 6 students have successfully defended their Ph.D. Presently he is guiding 5 candidates for Ph.D. He has received grants under Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence (MODROBS), Research Promotion Schemes (RPS), Seminars and Workshops from AICTE, New Delhi and SPPU. He has visited a few countries like USA, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand.
