Biography

Christopher M. Brown is an Associate Professor of International Studies at Georgia Southern University, specializing in democratization and democratic theory, with broader interests in comparative politics, development, and U.S. foreign policy. Recent books include Failed Democracies in Latin America and the Caribbean (2023) and Addressing the Venezuelan Migrant Crisis (2026).

Jacek Lubecki is Professor of Political Science and International Studies at Georgia Southern University. His work centers on comparative politics, political culture, defense policy, and military history. He co.authored major studies on Eastern Europe, including Nationalism, Imperialism, and Globalization, and multiple volumes on post.1989 defense politics.
