Biography

Ashoke Kumar Dasgupta has worked in the prestigious consulting engineering companies Development Consultants Pvt Ltd (India) and The Kuljian Corporation (USA) at their design offices and construction sites in India, USA, and Bangladesh; Middle Eastern countries: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait; and Far Eastern countries: China, Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam from 1974 to 2019.

His expertise lies in Structural, Civil, and Foundation engineering for Power Plants and Industrial Structures.

This book is his second publication with Taylor & Francis. The previous book was Design of Industrial Structures: Reinforced Cement Concrete and Steel, published in 2022.
