Arnold Wm. Harold Kooden, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist in private practice and a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. He was a founder and board member of the National Gay and Lesbian Education Foundation, board member of the New York State Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute for Nonviolence, and founding member and community activist of Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE). Besides having authored many articles on gay psychology, in 2000 he published Golden Men: The Power of Gay Midlife.
