Biography

Qurban A. Memon earned his M.S. from the University of Gainesville, Florida, and his Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida, Orlando. He is currently an associate professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of the College of Engineering at UAE University, Al-Ain. His research interests include intelligent systems and networks, and he has authored or coauthored more than 80 research papers and executed research grants and development projects in the area of microcontroller-based systems, intelligent systems, and networks. Dr. Memon has served as a reviewer for many international journals and conferences and as a session chair at various conferences. He has five years of industrial experience working as an engineer to install, test, and commission telecom and embedded systems equipment.
