"This book is a must-read for sport management students, scholars, and people working in all types of sport organizations. Understanding the intentional and unintentional drivers of biases towards people with other socio-demographic characteristics is especially important in the light of globalization, migration, and ageing societies. Cunningham goes beyond the widely studied characteristics of race and gender by also considering age, disability, weight, religion, sexual orientation, and social class. He offers a wealth of explanations and recommendations, with the discussion questions and learning activities at the end of each chapter ensuring that readers fully digest the provided material."

Pamela Wicker, Professor for Sport Management and Sport Sociology, Bielefeld University, Germany
