Biography
FH-Prof. Momir Tabakovic Ph.D., who holds a Doctoral of Science degree, is the head of two specialist areas at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien: renewable energy technologies and climate-conscious buildings and neighbourhoods. He has extensive experience in research and teaching, having led numerous international projects in the fields of renewable energy, plus-energy neighbourhoods and integrated photovoltaics. His research is focused on the promotion of sustainable energy solutions and the improvement of cooperation between industry and universities. Currently, Tabakovic is spearheading an EU-funded initiative under the Horizon Europe programme, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life and reducing the cost of living in smart neighbourhoods.
Svitlana Alyokhina, Doctor of Technical Sciences, is a senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. With over 20 years of experience in scientific research, she specializes in industrial and applied thermal physics. Her expertise extends to numerical simulation, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable development. Throughout her career, she has contributed to numerous research projects, focusing on optimizing energy efficiency, integrating renewable energy sources, and advancing climate-friendly technological solutions. She has authored and co-authored multiple scientific publications and actively collaborates with academic and industrial partners to promote innovation in energy sustainability.
