Ergonomics Design & Mgmt. Theory & Applications

About the Series

A recent report by the National Academy of Engineering states that in the near future there will be ongoing developments in engineering, expanding toward tighter conditions between technology and the human experience. This includes new products customized to the dimensions and capabilities of the user, and the ergonomic design of engineered products. In the past ergonomics has been driven by technology (reactive design approach). In the future ergonomics will drive technology (proactive design approach). This series will focus on two main, but so far not well connected areas of human factors and ergonomics, namely ergonomics design and ergonomics management.

Should you be interested in including your own book in this series, please contact James Hobbs the Editor for Ergonomics/Human Factors and Occupational Health and Safety on [email protected].
