Biography

Dr. Hari Singh, a health and hospital management professional, has the experience of managing the armed forces hospitals and the public and private sector hospitals for one and a half decades. He was in the management team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, an apex institution in the public sector and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, a prestigious tertiary care hospital in the private sector in New Delhi.





Later, Dr. Singh taught health and hospital management in MBA programs at the Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur. As chairman of the postgraduate programs, he led the processes for designing the programs, their curriculum and pedagogy. Later he was asked to set up another campus of the institute of Bangalore as its founder directors, which he did successfully.





Subsequently, Dr. Singh headed EngenderHealth, an international NGO, in India and worked extensively on quality improvement of public health facilities. He worked passionately on promoting men’s participation in family planning. Dr. Singh also served as the executive director of Foundation for Research in Health Systems and coordinated several prestigious research projects and participated in evaluation of many national health programs. Presently, Dr. Singh leads quality of clinical services at Marie Stopes India as its Director of Clinical Services.





Dr. Hari Singh is a medical doctor with an MD in Community Health Administration from Delhi University, India.
