Biography

Manuel Manga is a social psychologist, organizational consultant, and executive coach with over 45 years of experience in training and consulting. He has trained leaders and managers around the world in the business sector and INGOs. He is the founder and director of the Center for Evolutionary Leadership in Oakland, California, and was a consultant member of The Society for Organizational Learning (SOL), founded by Peter Senge at MIT.

"Manga has given us an unusually broad view of our present dilemmas, so tightly intertwined into polycrises, and an equally comprehensive foundation on which we can design paths out of the mess. Evolutionary leadership incorporates a sevenfold set of competencies that enable people at all levels of life to join in that design process."

John R. Ehrenfeld, Author of The Right Way to Flourish, Reconnecting to the Real World

"Manuel Manga's ideas about evolutionary leadership have always been inspirational. In this powerful book, he shows anyone interested in making the changes that are clearly needed in our world how to adopt the understandings and disciplines needed to become the leaders who can catalyze the whole system transformations that we need sooner rather than later to cope with the many crises we are all facing."

Sandra Waddock, Galligan Chair of Strategy, Boston College Carroll School of Management, author of Catalyzing Transformation

"Manuel Manga has given us a well-researched and practical book outlining how we can transform the present non-adaptive system. He shows that we can move from a society and economy that cannot meet our mounting challenges to the kind of future we so urgently need!"

Riane Eisler, Author, The Chalice and the Blade, The Real Wealth of Nations, and Nurturing Our Humanity
