Biography

Sezer Bozkus Kahyaoglu graduated from Bosporus University and earned B.Sc. in Management. Sezer had an MA degree in Money Banking and Finance from Sheffield University and Certification in Retail Banking from Manchester Business School. Sezer had Ph.D. in Econometrics from Dokuz Eylul University in 2015. Sezer worked in the finance sector in various positions. Currently, Sezer is working at Kyrgyz Turkish Manas University as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and an academic associate of the University of South Africa and University of Johannesburg in South Africa. Her research interests include Applied Econometrics, Time Series Analysis, Financial Markets and Instruments, AI, Blockchain, Energy Markets, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Fraud Accounting, Auditing, Ethics, Coaching, Mentoring, and NLP. Sezer is the chief editor of one, associate editor of two indexed journals and the AI book series editor at Springer. 

Vahap Tecim has BA in Economics, Dokuz Eylul University,  Turkey,  MA in Econometrics, Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey, MSc in System Science, Ottawa University, Canada and PhD in Management Science/Operations Research, Lancaster University, England.

He worked as a GIS Expert after the 1999 Marmara earthquake, at the Governorship of Sakarya, Bolu, Düzce to establish GIS for their decision making process and the redelopment of the cities (1999-2003). He also worked as a GIS Expert for UNICEF CARK countires, to train people how to use GIS for their important logistics programs etc. He has been given several seminars and attend many conferences  to share  his GIS and MIS related works. He has 9 books and sevaral articles about GIS, MIS, DSS, IT & IS,  etc. He is a Head of Department of the Department of Management Information Systems and Director of the Geographical Information Systems Division. He has also been the Director of Dokuz Eylül University Quality and Excellence Center since November 2021.
