Biography
Dipak Nath is Professor at the Directorate of Extension Education, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur. With a career spanning roles such as Subject Matter Specialist, Senior Scientist, and Associate Professor, he has made significant contributions to agricultural extension and education. Prof. Nath has published extensively, including 108 research papers, 11 books, and numerous technical materials. He has received 14 national and international awards, including the Best Extension Professional Award and Outstanding Scientist Award. His expertise includes group mobilization, training management, and technology transfer, with notable achievements in promoting 60 FPOs and 116 startups in Northeast India. He has guided 10 postgraduate students and serves as a resource person for various institutions.
Ridip Ranjan Saharia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Extension Education at Biswanath College of Agriculture, Assam Agricultural University. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension and has over a decade of experience in research, teaching, and extension. Dr. Saharia has contributed to several national and international projects, guided M.Sc. students, and published extensively, including research papers, books, and training manuals. His work focuses on entrepreneurship development and agricultural extension.
Dr. Ingita Gohain is Senior Scientist-cum-Head (in-charge) at ICAR-KVK, South Tripura. With over 20 years of experience, she has expertise in home science, community nutrition, and rural development. She began her career as a Dietician and later transitioned to agricultural extension, where she has led capacity-building and community outreach programs. Dr. Gohain is dedicated to promoting agricultural extension education, enhancing nutritional awareness, and fostering sustainable livelihoods among farming communities.
