Biography
Gabriela de Lima Grecco is Associate Professor in the Department of Modern History and Contemporary History at Complutense University of Madrid. She is the author of Literary Censorship in Francisco Franco’s Spain and Getulio Vargas’ Brazil: Burning Books, Awarding Writers (2020), Palavras que resistem: Censura e promoção literária na ditadura de Getúlio Vargas (1937–1945) (2021), and Los Libros de la Nación: Intelectuales, literatura y resistencia en la posguerra española (2025).
