Biography
Nicholas Burton-Howat is a hospitality transformation specialist with over thirty years’ experience spanning 45 countries. Combining rigorous operational and financial discipline with deep insight into the 3Ps (place, purpose and profit), he has assessed hundreds of developments, fine-tuned multiple operations, asset managed a portfolio of 35 hotels, raised venture capital finance to reinvigorate a 15th Century coaching inn, advised sovereign wealth funds and UHNWIs, as well as major developments for Accor, Marriott and Hilton. He created the Coworking Campus Hotel concept, is the author of Developing a Successful Hospitality Business: Philosophy and Practice, and has spoken at leading industry events including Arup’s “Hotel of the Future” conference at EHL (École Hôtelière de Lausanne). Nicholas also holds a Master of Science in Banking and Economics, an international Master of Business Administration and a Bachelors in Hospitality Management.
