Andrea M. Zurek-Ost, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Anthropology Department at Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI).

Dennis C. Dirkmaat, PhD, is a board-certified forensic anthropologist. He served as the Chair of the Department of Applied Forensic Sciences at Mercyhurst University, Erie, PA for 35 years before retiring in 2025.
