These proceedings contain the keynote and contributed lectures of the Fourth International Conference in Fracture mechanics of Concrete and Concrete Structures(FraMCoS-IV), which has been held at the Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, May 28- June 1, 2001, in collaboration between the Koiter Institute Delft of Delft University of Technology and the Laboratoire de Mecanique Technologie. Included were 143 keynote and contributed lectures.
