Biography

Mostafa Eidiani (StM'98-SM'16) was born in Mashhad, Iran. He received his B.Eng. (with distinction) and M.Eng degree in electrical engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran in 1995, 1997 respectively and his Ph.D. degree from the Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran in 2004. He is a senior member of IEEE in 2016 and director of the Iranian Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Khorasan Branch) in 2017. He was promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor in 2016. His research interests include renewable energy integration, power system control, transient and voltage stability, power system simulation, and DIgSILENT Powerfactory.

He has authored or co-authored 7 technical books, 6 chapter books, 40 journal papers, and 110 technical conference proceedings. In addition, he has conducted more than thirty research projects with Iranian power companies.

Dr. Eidiani is an Editor-in-Chief for International Journal of Energy Security and Sustainable Energy (www.ijesse.ir), Editorial Board for IET Journal of Engineering, International Journal of Applied Power Engineering, Journal on Advanced Research in Electrical Engineering, Majlesi Journal of Energy Management, Electrical Asre Magazine, Recent Advances in Engineering & Technology, Sustainable Engineering and Innovation, Energy and Power Engineering. He has been a Board Member of Khorasan Electric Generation Company.

Vahideh Heydari was born in Mashhad, Iran in 1990. She received her B.Eng degree in electrical engineering of telecommunication from Imam Reza International University of Mashhad, Iran in 2012 and her M.Eng degree (with distinction) in electrical engineering of control from Khorasan Institute of Higher Education of Mashhad, Iran in 2016. During the master's period, three articles from this student have been accepted, and one of these articles was published in the Control Journal of Khajeh Nasir University of Technology of Tehran, Iran in 2016.
