The Global Environmental Change Series, published in association with the ESRC Global Environmental Change Programme, emphasises the way that human aspirations, choices and everyday behaviour influence changes in the global environment. In the aftermath of UNCED and Agenda 21, this series helps crystallize the contribution of social science thinking to global change, and explores the impact of global changes on the development of social sciences.
