Kaushik Pal is chair professor and group leader (chief scientist and faculty fellow) at Wuhan University, Hubei, China, and visiting professor at the International and Inter-University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi University, India. He received his PhD from the University of Kalyani, India, and his DSc from IKTBN, Malaysia. He is a recipient of the prestigious Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (Greece) from European Union; the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) Fellowship from Wuhan University, China; and Brain Korea (BK-21) National Research Foundation Visiting Scientist Fellowship, South Korea. Prof. Pal has published more than 120 articles in international journals, 28 edited books, and 10 book chapters. He has organized 36 national and international conferences and workshops and contributed to more than 30 international conferences as a plenary speaker.
