Biography
K. Jean Peterson, DSW, is Associate Professor at the Universityof Kansas School of Social Welfare in Lawrence, Kansas. Her scholarlyinterests have long been in the area of social work practice inhealth care, with a recent emphasis on social work practice with personswith HIV/AIDS. Dr. Peterson is a consulting editor of SocialWork, Smith College Studies in Social Work, and Journal o f Gay &Lesbian Social Services. She is also a long time member of the Councilon Social Work Education, the National Association of SocialWorkers, and a past member of the Society of Hospital Social WorkDirectors.
