Biography

Ravindra Kumar Vemula is Associate Professor & Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, The English and Foreign Languages University, Shillong, India. His research interests are in development communication, health communication with special interest in HIV and AIDS, new media, communication policy and analysis. He has published extensively in indexed international journals and books. He is the co-chair of the HIV & AIDS and Communication Working Group of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR). His latest book is Health Communication in the Changing Media Landscape: Perspectives from Developing Countries (2016).
