Biography

Umapada Pal is a Distinguished Professor at the Institute of Physics, Autonomous University of Puebla, Mexico. He is a pioneer in nanomaterials research in the country, having established Mexico's inaugural Laboratory on Nanomaterials Research.

Jose Luis Ortiz-Quiñonez is a Visiting Professor in the Chemistry Department at the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Mexico. His research centers on synthesizing nanomaterials and their application in purifying water by removing pollutants.
