Biography

Prof. Zohrab Samani is endowed professor of water resources in Civil Engineering Dept., at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA. He has more than 40 years of experience in research, teaching, consulting and international technology transfer. His areas of expertise include; remote sensing technology, water resources development, groundwater hydrology and modeling, climate change impact on water resources, open channel hydraulics, pipe network design, pumping systems design and management, well design and development, renewable energy and sustainable resource development. He has also received numerous awards on teaching and research including distinguish educator award, ASCE best paper award, outstanding researcher award, and globalization award.
