Biography

Rajaram Panda is distinguished scholar specializing in Japan, Northeast Asia, and Indo-Pacific issues. He holds PhD from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He served as Foreign Editor for Newstime English daily, Hyderabad and Chief Program Officer at Japan Foundation New Delhi Office. He has been Senior Fellow at Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, Lok Sabha Research Fellow, and Senior Fellow at Prime Minister's Museum and Library. He was ICCR Chair Professor at Reitaku University, Japan. He also is a member of the Governing Council at Indian Council of World Affairs and Centre for Security and Strategic Studies.
