Biography

V. Selvam is a senior academic and administrator currently serving as Professor (Higher Academic Grade) and Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Languages (SSL) at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. He plays a key leadership role in guiding interdisciplinary education and research across areas such as commerce, social sciences, languages, and humanities. Dr. Selvam is recognized for his administrative experience and commitment to fostering interdisciplinary learning environments, encouraging research, and promoting academic initiatives that address contemporary societal and global challenges.

Sharmila Jagadisan is a Professor at the School of Architecture, Vellore Institute of Technology, with over 18 years of teaching and research experience in architecture, urban design, and planning. She holds a PhD in Planning from the University of Auckland, an MCP from IIT Kharagpur, a B.Arch.from the University of Madras, and an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain. Her academic interests include community planning, human settlements, urban and rural planning, housing, and sustainable urban design. She has received multiple faculty research awards and international grants, and has published extensively in Scopus-indexed journals, books, and book chapters, while mentoring numerous student-led research projects. Dr. Sharmila Jagadisan has served in key academic leadership roles, coordinated research, dissertations, internships, and accreditation activities, and has presented papers at international conferences across Europe and Asia. She is a Registered Architect (COA,India), a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Architects, and a member of the World Society for Ekistics, actively contributing to global discourse on sustainable cities and built environments.

N.L. Balasudarsun is an experienced management educator with over 20 years of international teaching and six years in industry roles. Currently, he is Academic Director and Senior Lecturer at Academies Australasia College, Singapore, and has held leadership positions at TMC Academy, Singapore, and PSG Institute of Management, India. Holding a PhD in Management from Bharathiar University, his expertise includes marketing management, consumer behavior, and strategic management. He has authored 45 research papers, 10 book chapters, and the book Fundamentals of Digital Marketing. Fluent in English, Tamil, and Telugu, he excels in activity-based learning methodologies.

Rameshkumar Subramanian, Professor of Financial Administration at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, has over 17 years of teaching experience and expertise in banking, finance, and financial literacy. Holding a PhD from Madurai Kamaraj University, he has published 15 Scopus-indexed papers, six book chapters, and two edited books. His research focuses on financial literacy and digital banking, with projects funded by ICSSR. A recipient of the NEFE Travel Scholarship (2025) and Bharat Jyothi Award (2015), he has presented at 37 conferences and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals.
