Biography
Asmae El Jaouhari is currently an Associate Professor at the National School of Applied Sciences, Hassan First University, Berrechid, Morocco, and an academic research member in the Systems Analysis and Modeling Laboratory and Decision Support within Hassan First University. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering (2023) from the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fès, Morocco, where her research focused on Digital Transformation Management in Supply Chain and Logistics. Earlier, she earned her State Engineering Diploma in Industrial Engineering (2019) from the National School of Applied Sciences (ENSA), Fès. Dr. El Jaouhari’s professional journey reflects a blend of academia and industry. Additionally, Dr. El Jaouhari has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, with contributions appearing in journals such as The TQM Journal, International Journal of Strategic Property Management, Journal of Industrial and Production Engineering, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Her collaborative work explores themes like Industry 4.0, IoT-enabled sustainable supply chains, circular economy strategies, and AI applications in logistics and healthcare. Benbrahim Fatima Zahra is currently a research professor in creativity and innovation at the Laboratory of Research in Management Sciences of Organizations, at the Innovation City of Kenitra, affiliated with Ibn Tofaïl University, Morocco. She is also a part-time lecturer at the National School of Arts and Crafts of Meknès (ENSAM), where she teaches strategic management, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in Economic Sciences and Management (2022) from the National School of Business and Management of Kenitra, Ibn Tofaïl University. Her doctoral research focused on the innovation behavior of firms, based on a large-scale field survey involving over 500 Moroccan companies. This work combines academic analysis with practical recommendations to support regional development. An Agronomist Engineer in Animal Production (2008), graduated from the Agronomic and Veterinary Institute Hassan II, she transitioned to management sciences, driven by her professional experience at the Ministry of Industry and Trade (2009–2024). During this period, she led several strategic and sectoral studies, gaining in-depth knowledge of industrial challenges at both regional and national levels. She has undertaken specialized training in intellectual property, particularly in the field of patents, earning certifications from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and AMAPIC, including the CAPI certification (Industrial Property Facilitator – Technology Option). She has co-authored and supervised the filing of around thirty patents, in collaboration with students and research teams. Her research interests include innovation strategies, intellectual property, technology transfer, Industry 4.0 and 5.0, and sustainable supply chains. She actively supports students and project holders in valorizing their innovative ideas through patent protection and the creation of startups or university spin-offs.

Hind Abdellaoui is currently a research scientist. She received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the National Superior School of Electricity and Mechanics, Hassan II University, Casablanca, Morocco (2015). Her work has been awarded twice: prize for excellence in Mechanical Engineering at ENSEM, and the 2nd is a prize for best thesis at the CMEEE conference, 2015. Since 2016, Dr. Abdellaoui is a professor of Composite materials, Material Sciences, Mechanics and Structure Analysis in Engineering school in Rabat, Morocco. In 2020, she joined the University Mohamed VI Polytech as a post-doctoral fellow in the field of Supramolecular Nanomaterials, Composite and Nanocomposite Materials and Nanocellulose Extraction. In addition, Dr. Abdellaoui joined the Institute of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, Moroccan Foundation for Advanced Science Innovation and Research (MAScIR), Rabat as a scientific collaborator (2014). Dr. Abdellaoui’s contributions appeared in over twenty publications of articles and book chapters, and a dozen contributed national and international conference papers and she’s editing two edited books with Springer and Elsevier. Her research fields of interest include Reinforced/Filled polymeric composites (thermoset, thermoplastic and natural matrices), lignocellulosic reinforced/filled polymeric composites, nanocomposites as well as manufacturing processes (Liquid composite molding), characterization and prediction of composite behavior, treatment and surface modification of natural reinforcement, preparation of blend and foam composites, etc. Dr. Abdellaoui was a keynote speaker at the 1st International Symposium on Composite and Nanocomposite Materials: ISymposite I, Rabat, April 8-9, 2019. She was a member of the organizing committee of the International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Humanitarian Sciences: ICATHS, Rabat, Morocco, July 25-26,2019.

Ilias Mouallif is currently a professor of higher education at the National Higher School of Arts and Crafts of the Moulay Ismail University, Meknes, Morocco. He earned his PhD in mechanical engineering from the National Superior School of Electricity and Mechanics, Hassan II University, Casablanca, Morocco (2012). His work was recognized by the Moroccan Society of Mechanical Sciences (SMSM) in Agadir, Morocco, where he received the award for Best Thesis in the category of ‘Research & Development’ at the 11th International Congress of Mechanics, held from April 23 to 26, 2013. Dr. Ilias Mouallif has contributed to nearly twenty publications, including articles and book chapters, and has presented thirty papers at national and international conferences.
