The availability of Earth observation and numerical weather prediction data for hydrological modelling and water management has increased significantly, creating a situation that today, for the same variable, estimates may be available from two or more sources of information. Yet, in hydrological modelling, usually, a particular set of catchment characteristics and input data is selected,... Read more

Biography

Isnaeni Murdi Hartanto was born in Kendal, Central Java Province, Indonesia, currently working in Directorate General of Water Resources in Ministry of Public Works of Indonesia. He started this research out of curiosity in availability of data from different sources with different estimates for the same hydrological model parameter. This book presents the integration framework to accommodate different data sources in hydrological modelling, hence, valuable information from each source can be retained. This research relies on data processing, model runs, hydroinformatics, high computing power, and complex programming scripts, which are all part of the interests of the author.
