Biography
Dr. Qasem Abu Al-Haija received his Ph.D. from Tennessee State University (TSU), USA, in 2020. Currently, he serves as the chairman of the Cybersecurity department at the Faculty of Computer & Information Technology, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan. He authorizes over 250 scientific research papers, books, and chapters. His research interests include Cybersecurity and Cryptography, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Time Series Analysis (TSA), and Computer Arithmetic. Recently, he was listed as one of the world's top 2% of scientists list released publicly by Stanford University and Elsevier Publisher.
Yassine Maleh has been an associate professor of cybersecurity and IT governance at Sultan Moulay Slimane University, Morocco, since 2019. He is the chair of IEEE Consultant Network Morocco and the president of the African Research Center of Information Technology & Cybersecurity. He is a former CISO at the National Port Agency between 2012-2019. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of the International Association of Engineers IAENG and The Machine Intelligence Research Labs. Dr Maleh has contributed to information security and privacy, Internet of Things security, and wireless and constrained network security. His research interests include information security and privacy, the Internet of Things, network security, information systems, and IT governance. He has published over 200 papers (book chapters, international journals, conferences/workshops), 40 edited books, and 5 authored books. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Information Security and Privacy (IJISP, IF: 0.8) and the International Journal of Smart Security Technologies (IJSST). He has served as an associate editor for IEEE Access since 2019 (Impact Factor 4.098), the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (IJDCF), and the International Journal of Information Security and Privacy (IJISP). He is a series editor for Advances in Cybersecurity Management by CRC Taylor & Francis. He was also a guest editor for many special issues in prestigious journals (i.e., transactions on Industrial Informatics, EEE Engineering Management Review, Sensors, Big Data Journal). He has served and continues to serve on executive and technical program committees and as a reviewer of numerous international conferences and journals such as Elsevier Ad Hoc Networks, IEEE Network Magazine, IEEE Sensor Journal, ICT Express, and Springer Cluster Computing. He was the General chair and publication chair of many international conferences (BCCA 2019, MLBDACP 19, ICI2C’21, ICACNGC 2022, CCSET'22, IEEE ISC2 2022, ISGTA'24, etc...). He received the Publon Top 1% reviewer award for 2018 and 2019.
Dr. Ammar Odeh is a distinguished academic and researcher in computer science and engineering. He earned his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Bridgeport in 2015 after completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Jordan University in 2006. With a profound interest in Computer Security, Dr. Odeh has dedicated his career to advancing these areas through research and education. His research endeavors have contributed significantly to the understanding and developing secure computing systems and innovative software engineering methodologies. Dr. Ammar Odeh is the Director of the Consultation and Training Center, where he continues leveraging his expertise to provide strategic guidance and leadership. In this capacity, he plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and the broader community, driving innovation and excellence in research, education, and professional development initiatives.
