Biography
Judith Lessing Landau is a child and family neuropsychiatrist and a former professor of psychiatry and family medicine. She specializes in facilitating healing and recovery through family therapy and past life regression hypnotherapy around the world.
Charlene Connie Sparcino is a mental health counselor, hypnotherapist, and spiritual practitioner integrating past‑life regression, clinical training, and shamanic study to guide clients toward clarity, healing, and awakened spiritual purpose.
“I approached Judith Landau’s new book with curiosity, unsure of what I might find. What I discovered was a work of striking clarity and emotional intelligence that bridges clinical insight with the mysteries of human experience. Her exploration of past‑life regression is grounded, precise, and extremely compelling. This book challenged my assumptions and left me reconsidering what I thought I understood about memory and healing.”
Patrick Griswold, MSN, MEd, RN, LAC, Professor, Department of Human Services and Counseling, Metropolitan State University of Denver, US
“Most of my life, I have been a person who wants to understand. I want to analyze the data, weigh the evidence, and finally decide with certainty what is right or wrong, real or unreal, possible or impossible. Yet, as I have grown, both within the clinical world of behavioral health and as a human being, I have come to a humbling realization. Many of our most important truths are not found under a microscope, but are discovered in places shrouded in mystery.
In this work, Judith invites us into that shroud and reveals how the echoes of the past, whether literal memories or powerful metaphors, shape our present-day suffering and our capacity for joy. From the ‘Place of Joy’ method to the exploration of ancestral shadows, she demonstrates how deep healing can occur when we look beyond the immediate symptoms and permit ourselves to consider a broader expanse of human experience.
For my fellow helping professionals, this book is both instructional and powerfully inspiring. For me, to harvest the wisdom found in these pages, I found I had to be willing to read from a place of embracing mystery. We often treat ‘mystery’ as a problem to be solved, but Judith treats it as a sanctuary where healing happens. She reminds us that ‘what looks like madness may be memory’, and that the soul has its own logic that the conscious mind cannot always measure.
Whether you view these accounts as literal reincarnation, the collective unconscious, or the soul’s way of using metaphor to survive, the result is the same: transformation. I highly recommend this work to anyone who has ever felt that ‘the missing piece’ of healing, growth, or clinical care might just be found in the parts of the human experience we cannot yet explain.”

“Dr. Landau brings life and light to the unexplainable phenomena of past life regression. She writes lyrically and explicitly highlights her real-life experiences with her patients and research. Dr. Landau provides us with her foundation of belief, trust and compassionate care. It’s a fascinating read!”
Mel Pohl, MD, FASAM, Chief Medical Officer, The Pointe Malibu Recovery Center, US
“Throughout her remarkable career, Dr. Judith Landau has consistently reminded us that suffering never exists in isolation. Long before systemic and relational models became more widely embraced, she has explored beyond purely biological explanations to understand individuals within their family systems, cultural contexts, and intergenerational legacies.
In Intergenerational Healing Through Past Life Regression Family Hypnotherapy, Landau and Sparcino expand that vision even further. With decades of clinical experience and wisdom, they explore past life regression hypnotherapy as an additional dimension through which families may understand and transform inherited patterns and work towards collective healing.”
Constant Mouton, MD, Psychiatrist, the Netherlands
“In the intimacy of these deeply personal stories, heart, mind and soul open to voices of suffering and healing. Landau and Sparcino transport even the most skeptical reader to witness the reality of the soul manifesting beyond the limits of a single lifetime. Whether seeking relief from suffering, hoping to find more effective clinical strategies, or curious about the practical use of ancient wisdom for healing, the reader is transported as the text opens the boundary between mind and spirit. We witness the power of remembering as the soul reaches across time, generations, even species to locate and heal deep wounds. One who suffers is held in compassionate awareness by skilled healers whose work builds ‘a bridge between science and spirit.’ Judith Landau is widely recognized as a psychiatrist, family therapist, and sage therapist for networks and communities. She has been a shamanic healer since childhood. Her inclusion of Charlene Sparcino as co-author clearly demonstrates her commitment to relationship as fundamental to healing.”
